It may only be a half birthday, but he still loved blowing out his candle and really, really enjoyed eating his half birthday cake!

Sammy's 7-Month Photos.
Ok, so you know how I said that Sammy's 7-Month photos would make up for what the 6-Month ones were lacking? Well, I was right. I gave up on the whole, perfectly posed thing and just shot away while he looked around at things at the park. The result: Amazing Shots!!! His eyes just sparkled, and you really get to see the real Sammy taking everything in and constantly trying to put something in his mouth! Enjoy!!!

Sweet Big Brother!
Ok, I've been on the hunt for a great picture of the two boys together. I want to print in on Canvas to hang in the living room. Well, try as I may one or the other is looking off into space, crying or beating on the other. Then, yesterday at the park I got this one. Grayson looks so sweet trying to help Sammy button up is coat. Of course, what you didn't see was that Grayson was the one who unbuttoned it in the first place and almost threw Sammy off the picnic table trying to get the jacket off. But, I think it will make a great addition to the living room wall!
Bath Buddies
Sammy has graduated to the big bathtub. He and Grayson love to take a bath together! They splash and laugh and have a grand old time. Grayson does struggle a little with having to share his bath toys, but I guess that was to be expected.
Sammy even likes it when Grayson dumps water on his head!

Ok, I know I am WAY behind on getting these posted, but that's because I was way behind on getting them taken! :) I never did get that shot that just is exactly what I wanted, but I promise that the 7-Month shots will make up for it!!!! But until then, here's a few to hold you over. :)

Happy Half Birthday, Sammy!
Yesterday, Sammy officially turned 6-months-old! Wow, how time flies!!!! I have to admit that I did cry a few little tears during the evenings festivities. But, we had a wonderful evening celebrating Sammy!
First he had his very first solid food! Yummy baby oatmeal made with prune juice!
Then we sang Happy Half-Birthday to Sammy while he was just dying to reach that cake.
I did let him play with a small piece. Even though he got some on his mouth, and every other part of his body for that matter, I don't think he actually ate much of it.
And after bathing in Half-Birthday Cake, we ending the night's events with a bath!

A Morning at the Park and the Perfect Picture!
A few days ago, Michael and I took the boys to the park for a little while. Grayson had so much fun playing with Daddy! Grayson's Daddy is his HERO.
Grayson is getting so big and brave. A few weeks ago he wouldn't even look at this ladder as something that could be fun, but this time, he climbed up the whole thing all by himself. Daddy was there in case he needed help, but he never did. It's funny, each milestone he makes is thrilling and sad at the same time! 
I got a few of him sitting still for all of three seconds when the basketball game behind him caught his attention! 
And last but far from least. I have officially gotten the PERFECT PICTURE of Grayson. As soon as I snapped this one of him looking up at a plane, I knew it was something special. But when I saw it full-size, it brought tears to my eyes. I told Michael that I want to print it huge, like poster size, and hang it somewhere very eye catching in our house. That way when he's getting on my nerves, I can look at it and fall in love with my little boy all over again! :)
